Ronald McDonald House South Island farewells CEO Matthew Mark
Ronald McDonald House South Island CEO Matthew Mark is stepping down from the role after almost three years leading the organisation which supports hundreds of kiwi families every year.
“Since 2014, Matthew’s leadership has significantly contributed to ensuring we provide the best service to the families of children undergoing hospital treatment,” says the organisation’s Board of Trustees Chairman Paul Deavoll.
“We acknowledge his passion and unconditional commitment to the role, as well as his caring and steady leadership which is much admired by families, volunteers and staff. We wish him and his family all the best for the future.”
Mr Mark will officially stepdown at the end of March, before he begins his new role as Christchurch City Missioner.
Mr Deavoll says applications are now open to find the organisation’s new CEO.
“We are excited to find a candidate who is as passionate as our team about providing free accommodation and support to families, as well as continuing our strong relationship with donors and community supporters.”
