The Miller Triplets
Brave boisterous and three times the fun – the Miller triplets have stolen our hearts again with these gorgeous shots of their second birthday.
Invercargill parents Sarah and Bevan Miller welcomed triplets Jake, Zoe and Kayla on January 28 2016, and spent 18 nights in the Ronald McDonald Family Room, Southland Hospital.
Sarah remembers her time in the Family Room fondly, describing it as a relaxing space away from the neonatal unit, but still moments away from her newborn babies.
“It was amazing to have our own room and space, it was so much easier than commuting from home.”
Sarah says life is busy in the Miller household, with 4-year-old big sister Tessa adding to the mix.
But she says it is amazing to watch the triplets grow and their individual personalities come through.
Zoe was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when she was 5 months old, but Sarah says her development is not too far behind Kayla and Jake.
Jake she says, is a ‘typical boy’ who loves wearing a helmet and pretending he is riding a motorbike.
We are thrilled to see the Miller triplets doing so well, and are glad the Family Room was there when they needed it most.
