“I was lucky to gain an internship on the Ronald McDonald House South Island Board through the Institute of Directors First Steps in Governance Award in August 2019, and have recently been appointed as a Trustee. I am honoured to join the brilliant team here. The sense of comfort, calm and connectedness you feel when you step foot in the house is remarkable. To provide a space where children have fun and families can make some nice memories amongst the tough ones is what motivates me to support the House. I’m eager to use the skills I’ve gained from my life journey and career in accountancy and finance to make a difference where I can.”
