Christmas is a time for families to be together
Every day, we provide a ‘home-away-from-home’ for families with a child in hospital. Your donation helps us keep the lights on and doors open, to bring families together for Christmas.
As we look toward the holiday season, we know that many families will be staying at Ronald McDonald House® and Ronald McDonald Family Room® programmes across the country during this time.
Families stay free of charge at our Houses and Family Rooms in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Invercargill. Your donations help to support families with a place to sleep near the hospital, a home-cooked meal and a friendly ear to listen to on tough days. By removing the stressors of everyday life, families can focus on what matters most – each other.
- $20 will give families a moment to breathe, with the necessities such as a toothbrush and soap taken care of
- $30 will give families a moment to share a Christmas feast together
- $50 will give families a moment to take a break with a cuppa and a snack
- $171 will give families the gift of time together this Christmas
