Jacinda Panther and her family stayed at Ronald McDonald House South Island for a total of 120 nights – first when daughter Maisie was born and again seventeen months later before the birth of son Louis.

“I remember that first time walking in and bursting into tears. I really wasn’t expecting it to truly be a ‘home-away-from-home’. You walk in the door and it is like home.”

“You hear people tell you ‘they do this, and they do that’ but you have absolutely no concept about what it actually means until you’re staying there yourself.”
